Endpoint: GET /api/v1/inventory/stock-age/{sku}

Returns the stock age (storage duration) for a single SKU as one flat object.

Requests are normally served from a pre-computed nightly snapshot (data_source: "cache", refreshed 02:00 UTC), so responses are fast. Requests the snapshot cannot answer — an as_of_date query, or a SKU not yet covered — are reconstructed live from warehouse history instead (data_source: "live", slower: a few seconds). Lot ages are always recalculated as of the request time.

The {sku} is your own SKU (case-insensitive). Returns 404 if the SKU does not resolve for your account.

How ages are reconstructed

Lots are derived from receipt/movement history using a FIFO assumption (oldest stock is sold first) — they are receipt events, not physical batch numbers — and accuracy is bounded by how far back movement history is retained. history_available: false means the SKU exists but has no stock-movement history to reconstruct from.
